Welcome to our first (green) blog!
Here at The Cosy Campervan we are proud to share that we are supporting The Green Web Foundation, a growing movement to reduce global fossil-fuel. We are already conscious that not only the products we choose are uk based but all the packaging is eco-friendly, vegan, & cruelty free. However, we were alarmed to learn that the internet is the world’s largest coal-burning machine. This is when we realised to move forward holistically we needed to make sure our website was just as green!
The Green Web Fellowship deliver projects of their choice that explore the intersection of digital rights & climate justice movements. They learn together, & from experienced practitioners about what powers control the internet, how it is fuelled, & what we can do about it.
They state that:
“The internet is a global, public resource and should be fossil-free by 2030.”
Therefore, we can display our certificate & promote that we are helping ‘do our bit’ by joining The Green Web Foundation & strengthen our ethos by sharing their insights & beliefs.
WHO THEY ARE
